About:

Joachim Jung has studied film and theatre at the Freie Universität Berlin.
Always fascinated by creating atmosphere and drama with lighting he worked many years as gaffer.

Helping to tell the story with lighting, the compostion and the interconnection of shots is what interests him most in working as a DoP. His emphasis lays on working with contrast, suspense and emotion.

After shooting (and directing) movies in Germany he moved to Los Angeles. Currently he works bi-continental making himself available to good projects around the globe.
